This is board number 94, custom, the sixth last hand-painted, upcycled surfboard that I will be painting. All things must end, and as I approach my 100th painted surfboard I have decided to bring this collection to a close.

To secure board number 94, first read the rest of the information below then click to pay a deposit of 20% to secure your spot.

You are paying a 20% deposit (AU$1100) on a custom, hand-painted, upcycled surfboard with a TOTAL COST of AU$5500, painted by Western Australian artist Claire Marie.

The board pictured is an example of the type of board that will be used for your artwork.

The remaining balance - AU$4400 - must be paid in full prior to painting starting on your artwork. If you are entitled to a subscriber discount, this will be applied to the total amount and reflected in the PayPal invoice you will be sent for the balance.

This deposit is non-refundable, but if your circumstances change and you decide not continue with this commissioned piece your deposit will be held in good faith for future purchases from the artist.

This price is for local pick-up only in Perth, Western Australia. Any shipping charges will be calculated just prior to the commencement of painting, and will be in addition to this amount.

Your board will be in line to be started in 2026, exact completion dates cannot be guaranteed. The artist will contact you before commencing work to check that payment has been made in full and to discuss the scene you would like painted on your board. Please feel free to send through some images and ideas of what you had in mind for your board. These will be used to do a concept sketch that will be emailed to you to approve.

All boards are recycled, used surfboards that were destined for landfill. As such, they are in varying condition but this is part of the charm of these artworks. Please note that boards are clean and all rough edges are removed, but these boards are not refurbished or restored or water-tight, and thus cannot be used as a surfboard. They are designed for interior display only.

    Custom Hand-Painted Surfboard

The unique hand printed surf board was more than I could have anticipated. Claire Marie communicated every step of the way and ensured I was happy with everything from the concept design to the end product. Her attention to detail was phenomenal. I haven’t seen such artwork from any other artist and I am so pleased I have this artwork as a memory that will last a lifetime.

Claire Marie did an amazing surfboard for our son's 21st. Such a professional masterpiece. So precise and detailed. My son was speechless. The whole process was easy and was always in touch with photos of updates. Very very wonderful and unique experience.

    Stunning artwoek

We commissioned a surfboard about four years ago and the piece continues to wow visitors to our home. The work is beautifully detailed and so striking, and “Timmy” the turtle is often a talking point. The process was so easy as well and Claire Marie communicated with us well throughout. We cannot recommend Claire Marie enough.

    Personal collection

I’m came across Claire’s facebook page quite a few years ago when she first started posting as just a random post that popped up on my feed.

Back then it was mainly shoes that she was doing, but putting out there that she was also starting on doing surfboards and how she was doing them with second boards.

Fell in love with her artwork, such great detail. That night I put a deposit down straight away.

Hadn’t chosen what I wanted to be painted but would sort that out later.

I’m so glad I got in straight away as Claire’s post on facebook and such detail of her work just took off.

Claire’s work stands proudly in my house and it is one of the main features that people see as soon as they walk in the front door.

Many people can’t believe it was done just from a photo.

It is one of my cherished pieces of art I have in my house.

If Claire was to set up a gallery any time in the future she could have my piece for a short lone to display her work.
